Unless you have no interest in football or have simply been living under a rock you probably all know about the unbelievable events that have been rocking the Barclays Premier League.
Leicester City very nearly dropped out of English Football’s top league last season (2014/15) having been bottom at Christmas but managing to scrap through and stay in the top flight for one more year. However, in the summer Leicester recruited the assistance of renowned manager Claudio Ranieri which most of us were very surprised by. The whole move did not make sense but we all felt like Leicester had probably struck very luck and my god they did!
But while we are amazed by what Ranieri has achieved at Leicester this season it is more the incredible story on the man leading the front line… Jamie Vardy. Four years ago he was plying his trade in non-league football before his record deal move to Leicester in 2012 where he helped the club achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2014.
As we have previously mentioned Leicester were very nearly relegation after one year in the Premier League. This season has been unbelievable.
Vardy has stunned the football world by breaking the Premier League record for scoring in the most consecutive games – now stands at 11 games – and not only is he one of the leagues highest goal scorers he is scoring some incredible goals.
And tonight – February 2nd – Vardy has done it again.

We are so excited to see what else there is to come from Vardy. It’s also nice to see an English player come up from non-league into the elite of English football, breaking records.
